TradeLinkers is a tool for tradespeople. It helps you record jobs, quote, invoice, schedule, and show your work. It does not replace professional judgement, regulatory compliance, or insurance.

General information

The content of the Portal, including help text, suggested wording for quotes, and any example templates, is for general information only. We make reasonable efforts to keep it accurate but we do not guarantee accuracy, completeness, or that the information is up to date. You use it at your own risk.

Not trade or safety advice

We are not gas-safe registered, NICEIC-accredited, or otherwise qualified in any regulated trade. Nothing in the Portal is a substitute for your own qualifications, on-site assessment, manufacturer guidance, or current regulations (including Building Regulations, Gas Safety (Installation and Use) Regulations, BS 7671, and your scheme's rules). You remain responsible for the safety and compliance of every job you carry out.

Templates and example wording in the Portal (terms, quotes, invoices, deposit clauses) are starting points, not legal advice. For binding agreements, tax matters, or anything material, take advice from a solicitor (regulated by the SRA), an accountant, or a chartered tax adviser. Check current HMRC guidance for VAT, CIS, and your self-assessment obligations.

Customer data is your responsibility

When you add a customer's contact details, property, photographs, or notes to the Portal, you remain the data controller of that information. You must have a lawful basis under UK GDPR (typically contract or legitimate interest), tell the customer in your own privacy notice, and handle any requests they make about their data. We process the data on your behalf under our Data Processing Addendum.

Reviews and ratings

Where the TradeLinkers app or website shows reviews of tradespeople, those reviews are the opinions of the reviewers. We do not verify every claim. If you believe a review of your business is false or defamatory, report it to semir@bozmaps.com with the URL and an explanation. We aim to review reports within 48 hours, and you have a right of reply on any review of you.

Photos of customer property

Before uploading photos that show a customer's property, faces, or anything that could identify them, get the customer's consent (a quick written message is fine). Blur or crop out number plates, house numbers, and people you did not ask. We store the photos on your behalf but the lawful basis to take and publish them is yours.

The Portal may link to third-party websites (suppliers, regulators, payment providers). We are not responsible for their content, accuracy, or privacy practices.

AI-assisted content

Where the TradeLinkers app or portal uses AI to draft quotes, descriptions, or suggested replies, those outputs are generated and may be wrong, inconsistent, or out of date. Review every AI-generated line before sending it to a customer or relying on it commercially.

Our limits

We do our best to keep the Portal available and accurate. We do not guarantee uninterrupted access, and we may change or remove features. See our Terms section 10 for how liability is allocated. Nothing here excludes liability for death or personal injury caused by our negligence, for fraud, or for anything else that cannot be excluded under UK law.
