Clean air zones are costing van drivers around £780 a year

Peugeot research reported by Professional Builder puts the average clean air zone bill for a non-compliant van at £780 a year: £99 a month in London, £82 in Tyneside, £8 to £10 a day elsewhere in England. Councils have taken nearly £1.5bn since the zones launched, and 19% of drivers are not sure whether their van is compliant.
