Delete your account.

No friction, no retention tricks. Tell us once and we'll wipe everything we're allowed to wipe — within 30 days, confirmed in writing.

The fastest way: from inside the app

If you can sign in, the app deletes your account instantly. Open TradeLinkers and tap Settings → Delete account. You'll get a confirmation prompt before anything is removed. Once you confirm, your business, every job, customer, invoice and team member on it, and your login are wiped on the spot — no email, no waiting.

If you can't sign in: email us

Lost your password, forgotten which email you signed up with, or already uninstalled? Email hello@tradelinkers.co.uk from the email address you signed up with, with the subject line "Delete my TradeLinkers account". Tell us:

  • The full name and business name on the account.
  • The email address used to sign in.
  • (Optional) Whether you'd like a CSV export of your customers, jobs and invoices before we delete them.

What gets deleted

  • Your sign-in credentials and authentication records.
  • Your business profile — name, contact details, branding, payment details on file.
  • All customer records, jobs, quotes, invoices, team members and contractors you created.
  • Any photos, signatures, certificates and files you uploaded.
  • Activity logs and diagnostic data tied to your account.

What we have to keep

Some data has to stay even after the account is closed, for legal or operational reasons:

  • Issued invoices — UK accounting law requires that businesses retain invoice records for at least 6 years. Issued invoices are kept in cold storage, accessible only to comply with HMRC requests; they aren't shown anywhere in the live product.
  • Backups — copies of your data persist in encrypted backups for up to 35 days after deletion before they rotate out. They're not used for anything else.
  • Anti-abuse signals — if your account was suspended for breach of our terms, we may keep a minimal record (email, reason for suspension) to prevent re-registration.

If you're a customer of a tradesperson using TradeLinkers

Customer records — your name, email, phone number, address, job history — are owned by the tradesperson who added you, not by TradeLinkers Ltd. To have those removed, contact the tradesperson directly. If you can't reach them, email us at hello@tradelinkers.co.uk and we'll forward the request and follow up to make sure it's actioned.

Just want a break?

You don't have to delete your account to stop using TradeLinkers. Uninstalling the app from your phone leaves your data intact in case you come back later. To stop emails, use the unsubscribe link at the bottom of any email we send.
